Immigrant Pathways Colorado Receives Grant from The American Immigration Lawyers Association
By Susan M. Thornton, MS
The Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association has made a grant of $500 to Immigrant Pathways Colorado (IPC). The AILA is a professional organization for immigration lawyers and advocates.
Susan Thornton, chair of IPC, said the grant will help IPC conduct two community-education workshops in 2024 about immigration law and policy in the U.S.
IPC is a 501(c)3, community-supported nonprofit that makes self-development grants to migrants from around the world who are documented and have very low income, and makes scholarships to immigrant students studying at Arapahoe Community College.
